Talk about an absolute worst-case scenario. A 12-year-old Melbourne schoolboy is incredibly lucky to be alive today after getting his arm completely trapped in the doors of a moving commuter bus and being dragged a terrifying 350 meters down the street.
The horrifying incident kicked off in Wheelers Hill when young Nathaniel got his right arm and his school bag violently wedged in the bus doors just as it started pulling away. Instead of stopping, the massive vehicle kept rolling, pulling the helpless kid right along the road.
In a scene straight out of a nightmare, the 12-year-old was left desperately hanging from the outside of the heavy commuter vehicle. He was dragged for a staggering 350 meters, miraculously dodging parked cars along the way by mere inches as he dangled over the pavement.
His terrified mother, Grace, has since spoken out about the horrific ordeal, making the absolute chilling realization that her son easily could have been killed during the wild ride. The entire situation is sparking massive outrage as people demand to know exactly how a bus driver could travel that far down a suburban street without realizing a literal child was pinned to the outside of the doors.
It is a genuinely jaw-dropping miracle that Nathaniel survived the chaotic incident, and you can guarantee authorities are going to be asking some massive questions about how this was allowed to happen.
