  A police officer pulled a young couple over for  speeding   and let them go just moments before they were killed in a fatal  crash . Officer Jon Nunez noticed a car travelling at high speed through North Bergen, New Jersey, on August 21, 2021. When the cop stopped the vehicle, he spoke to the driver, 24-year-old Luis Fernando Cevallos and his passenger, 27-year-old Alexis Rodriguez. The couple were on their first date, and sadly it was also their last. Haunting police bodycam footage shows the moment officer Nunez approaches the car and tells the driver to stop, providing him with his driving licence and registration. As Mr Cevallos complies, someone in the background can be heard complaining to the police officer about how fast the Kia was going. Handcuffed Woman Grabs Officers Gun and Fires

In 2021 a Mohave County AZ Maverick gas station was evacuated due to reports of a woman with a gun. Brenda Kay Thomas was clearly under the influence of some sort of drug. As she was ranting on and on, a police officer entered the gas station and ordered all the patrons out. After Brenda refused to cooperate she was handcuffed with the assistance of multiple officers. As one officer lead her to the back of a police cruiser, body cam footage shows her grab his gun from his duty belt and firing. The Officer's hand was shot and you can clearly see the injury through the other officer's body worn footage. Brenda was charged with a list of crimes, however she ended up taking a plea deal and was sentenced to 10 years for the shooting. She is currently serving her sentence in Mohave County, Arizona.
